Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Miller Harris teams up with The LOVE Magazine to create a limited-edition Tangerine Vert LOVE Candle.  LOVE Editor-in-Chief Katie Grand has hand-picked this seductive scent with a base of cedarwood, citrus and musky undertones sure to leave a lasting impression. Like the irresistibly unpredictable content of her publication, Katie’s scent mixes and matches unexpected influences from all over the world –Thai hibiscus, Florida grapefruit, and Sicilian lemon— which together create an intriguing, moreish blend that will burn . Final Days of Summer

Summer is drawing to a close and we are enjoying the last of our summer holidays.

A modern tribute to the Incense Road of Antiquity.  These meandering trade routes transported precious Arabian frankincense and myrrh, Indian spices and exotic woods to Mediterranean ports.

 

 

In perfumery, these precious materials are still revered today for their intoxication power, but re-interpreted with uncompromising modernity by Master Perfumer, Lyn Harris.  She holds the finest naturals as the soul of her creations while striving to push the boundaries, creating fragrances that are daring, speculative and exciting. 

 

A collection of four fragrances: La Fumée Classic, a dramatic arrangement of citrus, spice and masculines florals; La Fumée Arabie, smoky woods, with ripples of rose and vanilla; La Fumée Ottoman, an ode to Constaniople; La Fumée Maroc, a melange of fruits and florals against dark sensual woods.

Our Bottles

Our Miller Harris bottles for the core fragrance collection are all hand printed.  This allows for us to have our iconic botanical print on all four sides of the bottle.  It is on our 100ml Eau de Parfum and 50ml Eau de Parfum.  

You can feel the texture of the print on the bottle.  

It gives every bottle an individual feel.  It reflects our brand values of craftsmanship and detail.

LE PETIT GRAIN

A tribute to the green tradition of the cologne and one of nature's prized fragrant materials.  Le Petit Grain celebrates Lyn's love of the orange tree, incorporating every element from flowers to leaves, into its heart.  Petit grain essence, Tunisian neroli, fresh bergamot, lemon and angelica roots interlace with aromatic rosemary, red thyme and tarragon for vibrant freshness.  Oak moss, vetiver and patchouli leaves provide its elegance and sophistication.

Fleur du Matin has Returned to the Main Collection

Originally launched in 2003, Fleur du Matin captures the scent of herbs and flowers, wet with dew.  During this fragrant journey, one encounters a bouquet sauvage of pine, marjoram, honeysuckle, jasmin and neroli.  Fleeting glimpses of galbanum, basil, grapefruit and lemon provide playful intrigue.  Moroccan cedar, pine and oak moss leave a lingering cloudlike sillage.  

Fleur du Matin is available in 100ml Eau de Parfum, 50ml Eau de Parfum and 185g Candle

Upcycling Candle Jars

At our launch party for Symphony of Colours collection we decided to upcycle the finished candle jars for posy jars.  We always feel they are too pretty to throw away!

Grace and Thorn kindly assisted in creating the beautiful posies in colours that matched the vibrant packaging and combined ingredient elements to the fragrances.

Comforting childhood memories of sweet citrus fruits find anchor by a mature delight in fresh greenery.  The bountiful citrus basket holds a fragrant melange of Italian green tangerine.  Florida grapefruit and Sicilian lemon, seductively teased with marjarom, geranium and orange flower.  Cedar wood, moss and sweet musks carry its soft, enticing lasting impression.

Limited Edition Symphony of Colours Citron Citron for Summer 2014

CITRON CITRON

The essence of summer, bursting with bright, citrus freshness.  A vibrant spritz of Sicilian lemon, Spanish orange and Jamaican lime are given spin by cool mint and basil while a complex base of green moss, Moroccan cedar and cardamom provide a warm and lasting background.

Limited Edition Symphony of Colours for Summer 2014

Miller Harris has chosen Paris-based water colour artist, Cyril Destrade, to interpret and visualise three citrus fragrances in collectible bottles.  The Symphony of Colours represents the rhythm of fruits and flowers that make up the fragrances and the personas they embody as three individual scents.  

The Limited Edition Citrus Fragrances available are Citron Citron, Tangerine Vert and Le Petit Grain. There are only 500 bottles of each fragrance in the collection.

The Return of Le Pamplemousse

Le Pamplemousse has returned to the main line. 

Inspired by the groves of ripe, aromatic grapefruit trees that grow within the organic gardens of La Palmeraie, Marrakesh.  Le Pamplemousse is a fusion of the sparkle and zest.  Fresh invigorating top notes of grapefruit from Argentina and orange bigarde, are heightened by tangy roots of rhubarb and green melon.  Delicate Moroccan orange flowers, clary sage and rosemary merge in an invigorating aromatic fantasy, supported by dewy vetiver, moss and Moroccan cedar.

There are five fragrances in the collection.  

The collection is the result of Lyn's twenty years in the industry pioneering naturals back into perfumery and her unique style of using them with the most meticulous simplicity.  

Each fragrance is reminiscent of life and rich delicacies that it gives us; the season, the earth, the flowers, the fruits, the rain, the tree bark and many more.  

Whilst respecting tradition, Lyn strives to push the boundaries, creating fragrances that are innovative yet timeless.

Autumn has arrived and with it

The wax has been revised to contain the perfect balance of mineral, natural with a greater fragrance level; ideal for a longer lasting more fragrant burn.

 Miller Harris last night for London fashion Week.

 

Giles loves Miller Harris candles

 

Feuilles de Tabac candles scented backstage and the runway, for the second year running, a perfect addition to the mystery and classic elegance of The Stationers Hall, London.

 

 

Feuilles de Tabac drew on rich woods, tobacco leaves and spices taking you to the romantic brasseries of Saint-Germain, this combined with the ecclectic mix of 90's trainers, by Katie Grand for Hogan, bird-like head pieces and feather fringed dresses demonstrated the effortless chic that London based Giles is known for.
