La Fumée Ottoman

This is a limited edition, inspired by the iconic scent la fumée.

La Fumée Ottoman is a rich oriental fragrance centred on the ancient mystery of the Ottoman Empire. Incense and precious Turkish rose encircle dry and sensual woods in this dramatic arrangement of rose, spice and smoke.

Opening notes of bergamot, cardamom from Guatemala, rose and cumin from Egypt are combined with a sensual heart of incense from Yemen, cedar Maroc and patchouli. The final impression is one of smouldered embers, soft fruits, rose and amber.

Monday 27^th May

Visit to Musée International de la Parfumerie learning the traditional methods of material distillation. This was complimented by a of the Robertet factory highlighting modern methods of distilling Iris, Rose de Mai & Mimosa; and a visit to the school with students working to modernise fragrance classics.
